dood!

well, I haven't heard from anyone who had problems getting the MP3... so I'm just going to assume that everything went well.

For those of you who don't know the significance of the title of this post, yeah, I'm addicted to Disgaea. It's the best game I've played in a while. I have mixed feelings about tactics type games. Usually, I find them a bit too tedious and a bit lacking in the "tactics" department, but Disgaea manages to keep things interesting. Actually, it does better than that... It manages to keep me laughing my ass off! The addition of team and combo attacks really adds a simple tactical element to the game (also, the 4 person combo/beat-down attacks are just fun to watch). The real stars are the plot and the characters. Also, the "item world" portion of the game actually makes leveling seem meaningful. You're not running around the map looking for random encounter. You're actually doing something that will help you. (and on a final note, exploading demonic penguins kick-ass!)

Weekly WebComic Feature

Since I won't be using my rantspace for a few weeks, I thought we should put something else in here each week, instead of one stale rant. So every week, we're going to feature a webcomic that we think is pretty spiffy and that you should most definitely check out.

So this week it's:

Ever have that feeling that you're not really you ... that the your life is a lie ... that there are people who are out to get you? Well, this is more than just paranoid thoughts for Kailey Machida. But why is this happening? I guess we'll have to keep reading to find out.
